Hey, i would like to ask one little thing about machine XL780, with 828D system. I am not good in english, but i'll try my best.

Sometimes i got long shafts on this lathe and i can't use lune, or sharper tool. I found on other cnc systems the function spindle variation. It increasing and decreasing continuously spindle speed to cancel shaft chattering(vibration). 

Is there in sinumerik system option to do that? 

Will it decrease durability of any part of machine?

Can i write any command in program to activate it and deactivate it?

As fare as I know there is not an option for this as standard in the controller.

But Siemens have made a Application description as to how to implement such an option as a User cycle.
