STARTER-SIMOTION can't select accesibel node

YannickPeeters Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	Dear all, I am encountering some errors when connecting to SIMOTION D 435 via STARTER. When searching for accesible nodes, the correct bus node shows up, i.e. correct ip-adres and NameOfStation. Yet there is a message "no type info available" and the node cannot be selected (see attachment). The PC and SIMOTION are directly connected to each other with an ethernet cable. I work with the following setup: - SIMOTION D 435; - STARTER V4.3.2.0 on Windows XP. The acces point is configured as followed: - Acces point: DEVICE (STARTER, SCOUT); - Interface parameterization used: TCP/IP(Auto) -> Marvel Yukon 88E8055. I already tried different acces points, disabling firewall and virus scan, connecting over LAN-network and connecting with a profibus (SIMOTION-side) to usb (PC-side) adapter. YannickPeeters Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	Dear ChristophD and TechTeam, At first, thank you for the quick response. I believe the SSP for the SIMOTION Integrated Devices is installed. SIMOTION D435 shows up in the 'installed devices' list (see attachment). As for the project-part, I did have a project opened while searching for accessible nodes. The project is for the moment empty though, as finding accessible nodes is the first thing I do, so that starter can automatically add and configure the connected devices. Any other thoughts? But I doubt it would be a compatibility issue since the setup used to be working with the same programs installed. When I try to open a previously working project and try to go online, the program asks to search for accesible nodes. When doing so the same error occurs. Best regards, Yannick Peeters
