Rudrani Posts: 163 Rating: (4)	thanks 4 the reply...... actually the problem was...I have downloaded the backup in TP 177B...but HMI was not started automatically after dwnloading was completed...so when I tried to start it by pressing START button..an error message occured as.....PLEASE WAIT WHILE WRITING CRASH DUMPS So to solve it I tried to update the OS using PROSAVE... but in that an error occur that ....THERE IS NOT ENOUGH EMORY AVILABEL ON DESTINATION DEVICE MEMORY is it regarding to program length of the HMI?............. please help me as soon as possible..................... regards, rudrani

Rudrani Posts: 163 Rating: (4)	No...actually it was checked ....but because of that there was error message of INSUFFICENT STORAGE SPACE FOR FOR THIS PZD FILE ON DESTINATION DEVICE...... So then I deselected enable back transfer option........ And after that I faced problems as I said before........ Please help me.................. regards, rudrani

Please see thetechnical specificationsand also revise other limits. You shouldn't exceed any limit in your project. Hope this helps.

Now I just tried to download the same backup in another TP with same software version, and i downloaded it succesfully without any error......... Actually, the TP is on site...and while downloading the program, at the end it gives error as Internal error occured and one thing I observed that there is no icon of wincc flex in task bar. So, whether the problem is regarding to software installation? please help...... regards, rudrani

If you have doubt with your installation of WinCC flexible on a certain PC, then follow instruction in this FAQ:How can you reset WinCC flexible to the original status of the last installation? And also you can backup the prosave image from the worked panel and restore it to the other one using Prosave software. And you can use "Pack&Go" Option to download WinCC flexible projects on Simatic Panels. How can you transfer a WinCC flexible and WinCC (TIA Portal) configuration without configuration software to an operator panel (Pack&Go)? Hope this helps.

Pack & go but while downloading pack & go file on transfer PC, it takes too much time and after that message occur that downloaded succesfully , now performing final steps and at the end error occured as Internal Error and Transfer Failed but when I tried to download same Pack & go file in another TP, It takes hardly 3-4 seconds to download. So whether this problem is regarding to HMI device?????..........

Tweety Posts: 3037 Rating: (192)	Hello rudrani, you do an osupdate with option "reset to factory settings" with a RS232/PPI Multi-Master cable. How do you do an operating system update (OS update) on operator panels? You can delete all files ( operating system and project) with this procedure. Then you start thetransfer of your project again. Tweety

Rudrani Posts: 163 Rating: (4)	Thanks for the reply. I have tried with OS update but at the end error message appeared that, Not enough memory space is avilable on destination device. And while transfering the programme there is error on HMI, that Program memory is low. So when I checked the control panel--> system--> memory storage memory-- allocated =37,568 KB used = 76KB program memory-- allocated =10, 228 KB used=9712KB whereas the default settings are storage mem allocated = 512KB programme mem alloceated = 47,284KB So, i made it to default and it worked.
