I have the same problem but in my case the "Enable put/get" check is checked. In fact, the put funcition is working fine, the problem is only with the get function and the error is the same:

 2 = "Negative acknowledgement from the partner device. The function cannot be executed"

Any idea?

maybe... DB11 with proper styructure exists really on both CPUs? Check this again carefully, better in Online. Show that internal structures of DBs. Zip screenshots, attach here.

It was not a problem about the user program... The s7-400 is programmed with PCS7 v8.2. I have solved the problem after donwload a backup from monday, copy and paste again the same blocks that were not running today, and compile and download again the program. So, I suppose that the problem was about the compilation (and I can do nothing about it). 

I will see if after future changes and compilations in the program, everything remains ok...

I have changed the pointer from 2 bytes to 90 bytes (same data types in both DBs and in both CPUs) and communication errors again...

Sometimes the put works, sometimes the get works, sometimes none works and sometimes both works; and I am only changing the number of bytes, compiling the PLC project and downloading it (remember that it is PCS7 with a S7-410-5H). No changes in the user DBs, no changes in the netpro.

At this moment, the get is working with 4 bytes and the put with 2 bytes. If I increase the number of bytes it does not work. An the question is that on monday we could communicate up to 132 bytes.

@Duris_I: Please have a look at the way the PUT and GET is triggered in the S7-400. The PUT and GET instructions are attempting to trigger at the same time using the same resource.

Could you please explain to BiLaH about either triggering the PUT and GET at different time intervals or having two ID resource numbers.

1, you can trigger it with 10 HZ or 1 HZ in program and it works.

2, Get/Put belongs to S7 connection and cpu and partner cpu id can be 100 and 101 as example.

I know that I can improve the request method, but again this is not the point.

The screenshot is not updated. Now I can enable only the get or only the put (or both together) and the problem is still there.

In fact, I have also tested with the get request just at the opposite edge than the put.

And even more, I have tested activating the request (for the get and/or for the put) manually from a VAT.

And always the same problem.

thnx my friend for attention and good picture. I don't see problem use same connection ID here but maybe as better control/handling can be used simple handshake (nothing quick didn't went trough my head), but can work. I don't recommend use time control execution but it's up to you BiLaH what solution you select.

Your idea looks okay. One detail - provide for the condition if both requests are false. Otherwise none will become active. There might be a 1 cycle gap in-between still needed. to have the block see the request go false. I would use a counter for this process.

Sharing the same channel for both PUT and GET at the same time is a problem IMO. There can be created one channel for PUT and one channel for GET.

Maybe I'am not explaining the situation clearly.

I have tried all the posiblities you said. Also I have tried with tow diferent IDs, one for the PUT and other for the GET.

I also have tried disconecting the M0.3 from the request, and switching ON and OFF the request manually.

The point is not the FB, because on monday, with the "worst" situation (same requeste and same ID for both PUT and GET) I could communicate 138 bytes with the PUT and 138 with the GET. After that, I increase the number of bytes to 240 and it crashed. After that I change again and ONLY to 138 and still crashed. Then change to only 2 bytes and still crashed.

On monday, the DBs and the FB were always the same, and only changing the number of bytes, sometimes it works and sometimes not, sometimes it works with a lot of bytes, sometimes only with few, sometimes none, sometimes only the PUT, sometimes only the GET. And the ONLY diference between this situations was only the number of bytes. (Then I tried all the things we have talked about: different IDs, different REQ, etc)

In my opinion the problem should be other.

I forgot to say that the S7-1200 (partner) is a CPU 1214 FC (TIA Portal v14 with Safety). 

And all this time, the S7-400 is communicating with another different S7-1200 (34 bytes GET and 34 bytes PUT) without problems.

you can make the communication from the side of s7 1200 and use get and put instruction in 1200 program using TIA and no change will happens in  s7 400 station . other words you will extract and put data to from to s7 400 

you will use s7 connection over profienet   as you will see in the pdf file attached , 

- configure s7  connection in s7 1200 station 

- make the connection to unknown device , putting the target ip address of s7 400 

- map the memory area you will read/write  using PUT/GET instruction in user program .

I do not program the PUT/GET communication in the S7-1200 because the S7-400 is like the master and I have more than one S7-1200, so it has the sense to manage the communications in the main PLC.

Anyway, I have found a solution: create and use a new instance DB for the PUT/GET everytime I need to change the size of the ANY pointer. Apparently, the PCS7-CFC compiler does not work fine with this "little" change. I do not know the reason (and the support neither)

And at the end: BINGO!
