Hi,

The SIWAREX FTA and Temperature Controller modules were not recognized when I opened the hardware configuration of a project in one of my Field PGs. I have tried the same project in a different Field PG and all modules were identified properly.

Is it possible to copy the hardware catalogs of SIWAREX FTA and Temperature controllers from one Field PG (where it works fine) to another one? If Yes, How to do that?

 So that, i can open the same project in both Field PGs

Hi,

check that the latest HSP installed on the new PG, some devices need the additional Hardware suport packages.

Also check list of installed SW on the old PG that all additional Software for step7 is also installed on the new PG.

a direct copy/Paste of this data is normally not possible.

try to install the latest HSP for Step7 5.x:

STEP 7 V5.x Hardware Support Packages (HSPs) for installing hardware updates in the Hardware Configuration

Maybe there is also a SW required. Have a look to the installed SW on both PGs. Make sure that the SW is at least the version on the other PG. Better is to install the latest version on both PGs.

Regarding the Siwarex FTA module, you have to install the latest HSP.
