I have to run a 1FK7022-5AK71-1PG3 with an S110 CU 305PN with PM340.

With the power cable 6FX5002-5DN06-1AK0 the motor works ok.

(I don't need the brake, so the two wires for the brake are not connected.)

If instead I use 6FX5002-5CS01-1BJ0 the motor doesn't work.

Why?

I know that the second one is longer but are there other critical differences?

Yes, at the end the new cable was attached to the power module with wrong U, V and W. So it didn't work.

Thank you for the documentation, very helpful.

But one last question: I searched for drawings and pin layout for long on siemens web site but I was able only to find the datasheet. How did you find those web pages of the links you posted?

Just to find them directly myself next time...
