Simatic field pg software installation error

Engr.HRAbbasi Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	Hi, I was trying to install step 7, wincc flexible and other softwares from "simatic field pg software CD" on normal computer but as the installation starts in generates an error "install engine not found. please launch setup.exe from the root directory of the CD". It seems that your installation file currupted so you have to launch installation of each required product directly from its subdirectry. e.g for step 7 v5.4 go to its subfolder where you find setup.exe file. follow these steps for each further installation of S7-SCL, S7-Graph, PLC-Sim and ALM. Hope it will help u out.
