I have a large synchronous motor that is beginning to fail (1FT6132-6SC71-4FA1).  The motor we have in stock (1FT6132-6SC71-4EA1) for replacement seems to be physically identical except for the encoder interface (M24 18-pin vs Drive Cliq).  My question is: Can I exchange the encoder and connection from the new motor with the components from the original.  They are both Heidenhain encoders which mount using a tapered shaft.

The original motor is connected to a Sinamics S120 book size module via Drive Cliq.  The replacement motor we have appears to be the same other than the encoder configuration.  The replacement motor is using EnDat M24 circular connection.
