I have simodrive 611 and give me error 831 i checked profibus and its connected and its ok .

I check the card its good.

Send you picture to see my simodrive 

So could help me to trace this error and what need to do.

831 - Profibus is not in data transfer condition.

Please check, profibus data cable, connection in Profibus connector, resistor must be in OFF state on Profibus connector (if it is at end), Profibus cable etc. etc. In short Profibus communication has failed & no data transfer or communication possible with master.

The cable is good and also communication is good .

Just in screen give me error ot waiting for z and x drive i checked semodrive and find the error e831.

Please check profibus termination resistor position & connector.

I checked it and find resistor between A and B in screen is 105 in on position and 210 in off position i try to change but same problem and give me error on plc.

Just want sure if connect is good in picture i sent

Connection seems to be OK but resistance values which you mentioned are very LOW. Please refer the pin connections in my earlier post.

Have you disconnected, cable connections & measured resistance across pins as explained? Please disconnect profibus cable before measurment of resitance.

Disconnect the cables and meausre resistance and its ok as picture you sent .

Notice in one of them when switch off not connect A1 and A2 but i dont need because its last on and be on all time.

really i dont know what can do else .

I'm having the same problem when activating the driver the error appears only on the drive screen.
