Services such as nmtui, Node RED and Mosquitto are already installed on this. Is there also a version where only debian linux is installed? Then my students could install Node RED and mosquitto themselves.I would prefer that. Best regards

Basically replace iot2050-image-example with iot2050-image-base in https://github.com/siemens/meta-iot2050/blob/master/kas-iot2050-example.yml. Note, though, that mraa and currently also node-red-gpio are customized (patched) packages that cannot be found elsewhere with the full support for the device.
