Hello; The way you have asked your question is vague, we need a bt more clarification before we can provide you with a complete answer. With members here being volunteers on Siemens hardware and programming, you might get more complete answers on the ABB site. From what I can gather on the web, the PM573 is a CU for the AC500 family from ABB, programmed with Automation Builder, The following (extensive) document from the ABB Library covers the AC500 controllers: https://library.abb.com/d/3ADR010582 Are you asking how to progrm the ABB CPU and connect it with a (as yet undescribed) equipment? In that case please refer to ABB support or technical training, thiis is a site for Siemens automation. If your question is linked to the original thread you posted in, and inquuires on Profibus communications, in the above manual you can see that the PM573 (at least the models described in this 2022 document) comes with its integrated Ethernet port (which supports Modbus TCP) and requires an external communication processor, CM572-DP or the newer CM592 to act as a Profibus master, as you can see in the following link. Therefore there is no gsd file available for download, since the gsd file is ueful only to configure a Profibus-DP slave in a master's network configuration file. Look on the first page of the datasheet, with the description of a CM592-DP:I would like to point out that (since you are asking us) it seems you plan to interface your AC500 CPU with a Siemens PLC. Siemens S7-1200 and S7-1500 CPUs will be reachable on their Profinet integrated port through Modbus TCP, with instructions available in their Step 7 program. Older S7-300 and S7-400 will require you to purchase a Modbus TCP library to do the same. If you decide to use this possibility, come back to the forum so we can give you more details. If this information is not perfectly useful to your project, I can only suggest that you contact ABB support and ask for more information on the subject, They are genereally known for the quality of their documentation. Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier |
