Dear SIMOTION Experts,

I have a strange problem of not being able to access any web pages on my SIMOTION D435-2 DP/PN unit (6AU1435-2AD00-0AA0, FW 5.4). The problem is that the web server does not seem to run on the unit at all! Whether I use http://169.254.11.22 or https:// with the same address, I only got the message in my Chrome browser that the "Server has refused to connect" or something like that.

I'm using the X127 interface for connection with PC (with default IP address and net mask). All communications work fine (ping, Online access, upload, download from SCOUT). But the TCP ports 80, 8080 and 443 (HTTP or HTTPS) appear to be closed on the the unit (I check using the telnet command). The FTP access works, sort of. The FTP client gets connected to my SIMOTION unit and then I get prompted to enter a password. I can't proceed further because no matter what I try, the I can't match the password (assuming that the user ID is 'simotion').

I've created a simple project using SIMOTION SCOUT V5.4.3.0 and double-checked that the Web server is enabled in the HWconfig properties dialog of the D435 unit. Also enabled (checked) are OPC XML DA and FTP options, but Telnet and OPC UA are disabled. I tried to check and uncheck the HTTPS box -- it made no difference.

Finally, I took a look at the contents of the 2GB CF card and it seemed to contain some web pages. I can provide additional details if required.

It seems that I'm missing something, but I can't think of WHAT EXACTLY! Can someone please give me some tips on what else to check/modify/diagnose? Again, if any additional information is needed, I try to provide it a the soonest.
