Hi, assuming the text edited by the Mod was not disturbed too much, the attached is a .dnl compatible version of the Simovis file - but the first parameter is part of 232 index 2, so I'm not too confident.

I'm not aware of a Simovis to Drivemonitor conversion tool, but I would love to be proved wrong.

Questions You need to ask Yourself. Is it worth investing the time into text editing an original file.

If You have hundreds of them, Sure, but one or two could be manually altered, it is relatively simple to do with an advanced text editor.

But, if the drives are still running, then why not simply connect to them using Drivemonitor to upload a fresh backup.

I have assumed a firmware version of v1.4 of Your drive. Please note, the attached file is only suitable to download onto a CU2 which has already had it's power identification performed.

But bear in mind, there may be parameters missing before P232 in Your attachment.

Hi, pretty much just the Baud rate UNLESS your drive uses the USS for higher level communication.

Invariably, P685.0 = 127 and P686 = 2 (If not, change them, but make sure You put them back afterwards)

P683.0 = Baud rate (6 = 9600, 19200 = 7, and 38400 = 8)

Remember, if You change Your drivemonitor settings, You need to completely shut down and restart Drivemonitor software or it just does not work.

With no file open, You can try "Set Up USS ONLINE connection ..." under the File Tab in Drivemonitor, and if there are any recognised nodes, it will sense them and connect.
