what motor types can be controlled by sinamics s120?

hewking103 Regular Member Joined: 1/20/2022 Last visit: 9/3/2025 Posts: 369 Rating: (4)	hi All My understanding is that it can control both servo for desired position and induction motors for speed or induction motors for position if encoder is available on the motor or somewhere after gearbox. Can sinamics s120 control any of the fancy motor types like reluctance motor etc? if not why not? Regards
