uploading a G120c message bico on upload

Stu A Member Joined: 6/12/2019 Last visit: 5/14/2025 Posts: 11 Rating: (0)	hi I was asked to upload and backup a project from a 1500 plc and 7 g120c drive, , I created a project and uploaded as a new station for all the plc and drives but when uploading the drive I had a msg (A free telegram configuration with BICO is set in the drive. Please check your PLC program and adjust it to the BICO interconnections, if necessary. If a change was necessary, compile the program again and download it to the PLC? any idea’s

RB91 Gold Member Joined: 4/28/2015 Last visit: 12/19/2025 Posts: 1278 Rating: (302)	yes, this is more or less a warning that the drive does not have a fixed defined telegram so it cannot be checked whether the drive has the same communication setting as the PLC has - that's why it says please check it yourself - for example that the telegram length is the same on drive side and PLC side.

If I select the checkbox "Upload" in the popup window that appears and proceed with the upload, the inverter telegrams configuration is automatically modifed in a wrong way and I cannot understand why. How did you solve the problem? Let me know please. Tks
