V20 DC brake with off timer

Masood_Es Experienced Member Joined: 9/8/2015 Last visit: 8/23/2025 Posts: 123 Rating: (1)	Hi Friends I have a V20 drive. I set DIN1=RUN/OFF1(1) and DIN2=DC brake enable (25). When DIN2 is active, motor braking until DIN2 inactive. If this command is not inactive, it will cause damage to the motor. Can I define brake time using drive parameters? For example, if DIN2 is activated, it will brake for 5 seconds and then release, even if DIN2 is still active.

With help of timer function you can realize this 5s delay.
