How to make datalog using PLC's local time?

AutoGen_953861 Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	vulpes Hi! I've succesfully managed to implement data logging in my s7-1200 PLC. My last issue is with timestamp. All I can do with datalog blocks is to set Timestamp 0 or 1. Now my logs have UTC time logged, but I'd like them to have PLC local time. PLC's time is OK. UTC+1 timezone is set correctly. While browsing through PLC's web site I can see that file is modified at 6:00 am local time, but log shows 5:00am, UTC time. Please see file attached. How can I make datalog to use PLC's local time? how to change time ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Split from Sample program: S7-1200 and DATA LOG.

Read up on the PLC log create block and how to set it up to omit the time from the logfile. The resulting log would have plc local time as the first field in the logfile.. I have read about the create block and can't find anything how to change the time format. It shows the right time in the File Browser on the web, where it shows when the file was changed. If you did not, you missed what I was saying. Set the TIMESTAMP parameter to 0 to disable the automatically provided date & time columns, which is logged in UTC. In your HEADER, you have to add DATE and TIME columns, except now you write the local date / time values when you prepare to write a new log entry.
