HMI visualisation on Simatic ITP1000

AutoGen_8642616 Posts: 9 Rating: (0)	Hi everyone, I have problem with Simatic ITP1000 tablet. I have a project in TIA v17 ( PLC - CPU1516F-3, HMI - TP1900 Comfort). I want have also a visualisation and connection to tablet. I install WinCC RT. What should I do to correctly connect. If you have question write please because I don't know i explain everything clearly. Thank you for help in advance. Regards

You will need to include a PC Station in the TIA Portal and insert both the WinCC RT Advanced component and the network card and make the HMI connection between the RT Advanced and the PLC. Murof Platinum Expert Joined: 8/3/2009 Last visit: 9/3/2025 Posts: 16322 Rating: (1931)	Hello AutoGen_8642616 If you are talking about WinCC Runtime Advanced, then its basically quite the same as with Comfort Panel, you have to create a project and a connection to the PLC as already suggested. Important is also if you dowload the project to the runtime PC you also have to set the PGPC Interface settings in Control Panel of the PC-> Accesspointname(by defalut S7ONLINE-> Nameof networkcard.TCPIP.1) you will need licenses for Powertags, and if you have logging or/and recipe (on the panel you will not need additiional licenses, only for PC RT) If you have other WinCC RT like Professional or Unified, then its similar but also there are a few extra steps Bye Murof
