I'm using WinCC V7.5.2.0 as server/client

Simatic Net V16, Step7 Prof V14 SP1 and option in WinCC for Opc Server are installed. The licence for me are ok (Simatic Net Sofnet Lean Basic, WinCC Server, WinCC RT, Simatic Sofnet-ie Lean/Basic/Power Pack, WinCC Connectivity Pack)

The os is Windows Server 2016 Standart

Station configurator: OPC Server then WinCC Appl and IE General

In Service (local) OpcUaServerWinCC don't Run when i clic run i have this message: Windows could not start the Opc... service on Local Computer --> Error 0x80004005 Unspecified.

I have a another WinCC Server with the same configuration, only it's a real PC not a VM and Opc Server Running and  working realy wheel.

Hey, you can close this topic i have find a solution.

Uninstall WinCC OPC Server/UA Client/UA Server, connectivity Station/Client/Server

Restart your machine and reinstall them

Restart again and update WinCC for me from V7.5 Sp2 to SP2+Upd4

Open LaunchPad in Admin mode, open "Hosts" : C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc

Add your local machine --> IP adress and name

Add your destination machine --> same method

Last Restart launch runtime wait a moment and look in 'Service' OPCUaServerWinCC status must Running.

Then you can open OPC Scout (local machine or distant) for me in local mode under 'Local UA server' nothing don't panic

+Add server the name from your machine little thing the port is not 4840 but 4862

For me, I am using the WinCC v7.5.2.11 and having the same error.

My solution is: uninstall WinCC OPC server, opcua server/client, connectivity pack server/client. And then reinstall them again independently.

... or you try to renew the certifcates. Was successful for me.
