For the 4-wire configuration, look for a value of 32768 to indicate a possible wiring problem - or perhaps loss of power to the external transducer or 4-wire device.

In general, anything ≥ 32767 on a 2 or 4-wire AI will indicate a fault condition even when the diagnostics checkbox is not checked.

I have an S7-1500 application using two 6ES7531-7MH00-0AB0 analog cards, some of my connected sensors are 2-wire 4-20ma and some are 4-wire 4-20ma. I've noticed that on the channels that I have configured for 4-wire, the "wire break" diagnostic check box is greyed out. Is this per design? Or do I have a configuration issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
