Hi 

i have an application in WinCC V7.4 SP1 with a base screen that has a few buttons on it and a picture window that shows the status of several items of plant. 

i use the fill color of rectangles in the picture window to show the status. as there is more than one status i.e. red, green, blue, pink i use a VBS script to evaluate binary tags and change the fill color to suit.

when i run the picture from the picture window in its own it works perfectly, however when i use it through the base screen it appears as though the vbs scrips stop working until i click on the picture window. 

therefore if i click on one of the buttons on the base screen i then have to click back on the picture window to see make the vbs run again

is there a way to keep the picture window updating and running its VBS scripts as it does when it is a standalone picture ?
