How I can update Tia V18 panel images

In the case of the HMI Comfort Panel, the latest released image versions are V17. On the other hand, for the HMI Unified Comfort there are higher image versions V18 and V19. In the following link you can find these image versions: "Image Downloads for HMI Operator Panels" Could you specify exactly what exactly you need? Best regards!

In this case, the latest image versions released for the HMI Comfort and HMI Basic panels are V17, there are no image versions V18 and V19 for these panels. Here you can find all the version images available for these devices: "Image Downloads for SIMATIC HMI Operator Panels: Comfort / Mobile / Basic Panels" So, as a clarification, if you use TIA Portal V18, if you configure a HMI Comfort or Basic you can only select version V17 at most. In the link above, you have all the information! Best regards!

Megaball112 Joined: 2/9/2024 Last visit: 5/30/2025 Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	I recently bought a new computer with Windows 11 Pro and installed both TIA Portal V18 and V17 on it. On my previous computer, I successfully updated the HMI panel images to version 17.0.8, which allowed compatibility with TIA Portal V18 by using the HMI_PIU tool. However, on the new system, I'm unable to upgrade the panel images to 17.0.8. Only version 17.0.5 is available, and as a result, all my loaded panels are prompting me to downgrade. How can I resolve this so that I can use version 17.0.8 with TIA V18 without downgrading? Offline updater didn't update images for V18.

Can select the newer Images for your TIA Portal Version? If you cannot use the PIU Updater on this system you can also download the Offline installer (Chapter 1.2 in the PIU FAQ) in the documentation there is shown where you have to copy the images to (there is a path that is with V1X) SO you can copy it to any TIA Version in the corresponding path. Every TIA Version has its own image paths for every possible image version (Its not that smart in my opinion but it is at it is...) Bye Murof
