JBS98 Regular Member Joined: 7/19/2022 Last visit: 9/11/2025 Posts: 436 Rating: (72)	Hello AutoGen_7532017, In WinCC Professional I think that you can only delete / reset the historical data in the transfer mode (Download to device/ Download to file system) in the load preview window, not in Runtime. There you have the possibility to select between retain and reset the existing historical data. Hazard_7 Advanced Member Joined: 5/30/2022 Last visit: 9/12/2025 Posts: 634 Rating: (103)	Hi AutoGen_7532017, What you can do is delete the SQL segment of the database (SQL segments are found in the ArchiveManager Folder of the project), but you will delete the history of all tags that are being archived. The other option I can think of is with SQL Managment Studio: To delete tags or specific rows in SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), you can use the DELETE statement in a query. Here's a basic example of how to delete rows from a table: Open SQL Server Management Studio and connect to your database. Open a New Query window. Write your DELETE statement. For example, if you have a table named Tags and you want to delete a tag with a specific TagID, you can use the following query: Execute the query by clicking the "Execute" button or pressing F5.
