Secure connection between LOGO! BM 8.3 or higher cannot be established

mik-ba_ Member Joined: 6/14/2021 Last visit: 4/14/2025 Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	Hello, I have a problem with the communication between LOGO (8.4) and CMR2040 (firmware V2.2.11) via ethernet. Everything worked at our factory, however after installation on site we get the following error message (see also image attatched): "Secure connection to LOGO! BM8.3 or higher cannot be established; verification of BM certificate failed" The error LED is also lit red on the CMR2040 module. The ping test from the CMR2040 to the LOGO works and the time synchronization also seems to work fine. The certifcate from the logo is received in the CMR2040, however the connection to LOGO! BM is not established (no diagnostic message). Furthermore the monitoring doesn't work (digital flags are in red text). IP-adresses: LOGO: 192.168.0.1 CMR2040: 192.168.0.3 Thanking you in advance. AutoGen_380038 Silver Member Joined: 9/11/2014 Last visit: 9/2/2025 Posts: 865 Rating: (37)	Hi, I'm not an expert using the CMR together with LOGO!, but what I found is in your screenshot is that beginnin with line 7 your date and time is wrong. Please correct the D&T and try again. Date&Time may be the reason why a secure connection is not possible. Hope this helps

The time is obtained by the mobile wirelles network. Here after the time of day is forwarded to the the LOGO!BM. Line 8 of the diagnostic buffer states that the time-of-day synchroinization is succeeded. When the logo has a different time of day than the CMR, you can see that this time changes on the display of the LOGO!BM. So unfortunately this isn't the problem.

I have the same problem here. Latest firmware in Logo8.4 and in CMR2040 Do I have to load an other certificate in the CMR to solve this?

Hi, at the beginning you mentioned you have a LOGO! 8.4, IXOS find a 8.3. Did you check and correct your settings?
