Dear All,

I have a B & R X20BC00E3 Profinet IO Coupler and different IO modules on different slots.

These IO modules on slot keeps on changing, So i want to configure this Profinet coupler for new configuration very often.

Can i acheive this with S71200 Configuration Control.?

I expect it working ok in case of not very specific function modules requiring special B&R library. In this case of cfg, it is required to have GSDML of this PN Coupler and correctly have configured on S7-1200 HW cfg. I recommend check B&R web site for required files and documentation, especially for Coupler as is, its cfg options and your attached I/O modules.

eeeeehm and sry, what reason to use that LCC library? On other side, I don't have experience with this also it is not clear to me why you ask for some ID of coupler. You said you have access to I/O so what else you need? As I said in my post, in case of not special modules it is accessed simply via I/O defined access as medium is, in your case PN. This is 3-rd party HW so you need check B&R web for other informations, how to access and manipulate data with modules, this is common procedure. Really, it is not clear to me for what library you ask to access B&R, signals are generally accessed via I/O of connection system (PN in this case).

I exactly want to configure different set of IO modules on fly by selecting some inputs of s71200.

My requirement is like similar to configuring hardware configuration again and again with change io modules on some input selection.

I went through LCC library and found promising, but it focuses on Siemens IO Racks.

My IO rack here is B&R.

Contact B&R and ask them is it possible to do configuration control with their hardware on a Siemens controller.
