Regenerating back to grid

Using: CU320-2PN / Infeed ALM / Double motor module

I have DCC.

Motor mechanical directly connected to load (windmill) /No gear

Flying restart enabled.

As I understand the function/settings:

- Start motor in wind direction with low upper torque/current/power limit with a set speed.

- If wind is strong enough, it will try and drive faster then speed setpoint.

- Motor module will then try to reduce speed to setpoint speed, which should result in re-gen power back to the grid.

I did a lab test using a motor acting as load, but I could not see any change at r29 reactive current.

Which should be used as limiting setting of power/torque/current?

Are there any other setting drive unit or infeed I need to set?

What should I monitor at drive axis and Infeed?

I did a similar set up on a bench test at one point. Do you have your load motor connected directly to the line side of the AIM/ALM?

The ALM needs to be synchronized to a grid, or set up specifically to generate an Island Grid. There is a grid controller software designed with many of these features in mind.  I did a recent livestream about doing a similar setup. Check it out below. Also, I haven't looked at it too closely, but the ALM by default has a reactive current setpoint of 0, meaning the power factor is 1. I would be interested in discussing what you are doing with your setup and maybe we can come up with a solution. I have a discord server we can chat on (link on YouTube).
