I did a similar set up on a bench test at one point. Do you have your load motor connected directly to the line side of the AIM/ALM? The ALM needs to be synchronized to a grid, or set up specifically to generate an Island Grid. There is a grid controller software designed with many of these features in mind. I did a recent livestream about doing a similar setup. Check it out below. There is also a "Grid Infeed Manual" linked on the video. https://youtube.com/live/NnbsBx7saNc?feature=share Also, I haven't looked at it too closely, but the ALM by default has a reactive current setpoint of 0, meaning the power factor is 1. I would be interested in discussing what you are doing with your setup and maybe we can come up with a solution. I have a discord server we can chat on (link on YouTube). |
