( PCS7 9.1 SP2 ( 2 OS Servers, 2 Clients, 1 WebClient )

Does anyone know how to configure the area three for the WinCC Web Client? The navigation three do not reflect the same one made in the OS Editor. the layout I need is 6 x 6 = 36 and I always have 4x6=24, so its missing buttons for my screens.

I know for the clients i can change it on the OS editor and define the sequence as well, but i am not sure how to do for the WEB Client.

InPCS7 9.1 SP2, configuring theArea Tree (Navigation Tree)for theWinCC Web Clientis slightly different from how it's done for standard OS clients. The Web Client follows the navigation settings from the OS but requires additional configuration to reflect changes properly.

Steps to Configure the Area Tree for WinCC Web Client:

1.Check the Area Tree Configuration in OS Editor

• Open theWinCC Exploreron one of yourOS Servers.
• Navigate toOS Editor > Area Treeand ensure your36-button (6x6) layoutis correctly configured.
• Ensure allScreens/Viewsare correctly assigned to theArea Treestructure.

2.Verify WinCC WebNavigator Settings

• OpenWinCC Explorerand go toWebNavigator Configuration.
• Check if theNavigation settingsallow for full synchronization with the OS.

3.Modify the Navigation Layout for Web Client

• Open theWebNavigator settingson the OS.
• Adjust theNavigation Bar Layout:
  • If it is set todefault, the WebNavigator may not show allscreens.
  • Ensure that thefull navigation treeis included.
• Check the"Max Displayed Elements"parameter—it might be limiting your 6x6 layout.

4.Update & Deploy WebNavigator

• Save theOS Editorchanges.
• Restart theWinCC WebNavigator Server.
• Clear the browser cache on the Web Client and reload the page.

5.Alternative Approach – Manual Adjustment in Web Configuration

• If the issue persists, manually check and edit the WebNavigator configuration file:

        Navigate to: C:\ProgramFiles(x86)\Siemens\WinCC\WebNavigator\config

• Look for a navigation XML or config file that might define the tree layout.
• Modify the structure to match your6x6 (36 buttons) layout.
