Hi,

i have some problems trying to show in the OS server the logic matrix faceplate.

The safe matrix was created time ago and runs perfectly.

But right now i want to show it in the OS for operator's diagnose.

So, i create the PDL in the OS (compile and downdload) and aparently everything works fine.

The block icon is showed in the image (attach image) but when i try to click on it nothing happen.

I installed the software of logic matrix viewer in the OS server where i try to show the faceplate of logic matrix.

The point is, if i activate the project in the ES the block icon and the faceplate works fine (without signal).

Some ideas to find a solution?

For the moment i try to se and operate the logic matrix in the server (soft installed and licensed).

Are you sure that is a Logic Matrix and not a Safety Matrix?  They are different products.  It was hard to notice at first, but your matrix header is yellow typically indicating Safety Matrix.   You also seem to use the words interchangeable in your message but it is not the case.

In that case you need to have Safety Matrix viewer licenses.  You may have both in the same project but they are not the same license.

i atraached a file with the crops of my project. 

Maybe i was wrong talking about Logic Matrix and really is Safety Matrix. 

My mistake.

In the other hand, i have licenses for Safety Matrix Edit and Viewer. And licenses for F system too.

Do you have all the @PG_F_xxxx.pdl files in your OS project GraCS folder?  If not, then faceplates won't be able to work.

The 6.3 manual dropped the install information, but it used to be there in the 6.2 Safety Matrix manual.

Make sure those files are in there, if not you need to run OS project editor on each OS project where you want faceplates (OS server, OS client(s)) and select them from the basic data tab to get them in your project(s).

if i executed the project in the EI i saw the block icon (without conexion/demo mode) in the the PDL.

And if i press it, the faceplate appears in the floating picture with all my Causes and Event (the connection failed and didnt show the status of signals)

But, in some way, its running well.

Both OS servers are compiled and downloaded from the EI. Why is not working in the OS's?

I checked the @PG_Fxxxx.pdl in the servers and in the EI, and there are the same archives in the three servers.

as you said, i need a specific license for SMViewer. But that's not the problem.



The problem become when i press block icon on my OS station. Nothing happen, the faceplate didn't appear and i dont know whats the problem.

"i have all the packages installed" and all the licenses needed intalled.

Solution steps:

1- Go to WinCC Server.

2- Open WinCC Explorer.

3- Go to C-Script in the left tree.

4- Open standard funtions -> Safety Matrix Funtions

5- Open SM_OpenFaceplate funtion.

6- Go to Tools label (up in the window) and Generate new header.

7- Close script editor.

8- Shutdown server Wincc RunTime.

9- Start WinCC RunTime again.

10- Press the block icon and enjoy your new safety matrix online

NOTE: iF you have redundant servers (in my case). repit the steps in the other servers or clients.
