I’m currently working on a project where I’m trying to use the Siemens libraries for communication with a SIMATIC S7-1200 controller, and I’ve based my work on the example found in this document:Controlling Sleep Mode and the Digital Output of a SCALANCE W via SIMATIC Controller and SNMP.

However, my setup differs slightly. I’m using a third-party managed switch (not Siemens) connected to the S7-1200, and I am attempting to block port 5 via SNMP commands. The command I’m using in the command line works perfectly and successfully disables port 5:

snmpset -Ot -v 2c -c private 192.168.0.2 1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.7.5 int 2

But when I try to implement this using the Siemens SNMP communication library, I encounter an error. The specific error is16#8601with the statSubfunctionStatus being 809B (TCON).

I’ve verified the SNMP configuration, and the network connection is functioning properly, so I’m not sure why I’m getting these errors in TIA Portal. Does anyone have any suggestions or insights on how to resolve this issue?

I guess it's related to the hwidentifier and or the connID, but I'm not sure what is the correct value.
I tried almost all of them on the system constants, 280, 273, 279, and the connID I didn't find it.

Also regarding the port 2000 this is the local port, or should I use 161?
