I am using eWON for remote access to PLC's.

This is a good solution for this and vpn service is free. But it can be expensive for small machines. So i am thinking about cheaper solutions.

Is there anyone tried remote control PLC with raspberry ?

For example we installed a VPN service to raspberry and our PC. And raspberry connected to s7-1200 via ethernet cable. After that we are reaching to remote plc with VPN for programming PLC..

Any idea ?

Not sure what exactly your questions is but I use a beaglebone black with openvpn for remote connection to a s7-1200. Works like as charm; linux is unbeatable w.r.t. to networking but be advised that rpi or bbb is not industrial grade so you must make sure that power supply and environment are suitable. I also use a std. hp server + linux + openvpn for remote connections. Ewon is also using opnvpn under the hood but you are dependent on their servers.

I use openvpn with layer 3 routing (no bridging). This has some limitations in that llcp, dcp and other non-routable protocols are not working. It's not essential but if you need it you've to setup openvpn as a  bridging vpn.

Does you have more details about the setting you did. I am trying to develope a similar solution with as Raspberry Pi and tailscale VPN service.
