The connection was tested between Windows 7 (local device) vs. Windows 7 (remote device) and Windows 7 (Local Device) vs. Windows 10 (remote device).

Note: Windows running with Professional Licences, don't work with Windows Home Version..

 Can you share the attached file"Documentation" by English language?

Hello everyone,

I am trying to follow the description in the PDF, but when I enable the 'Use router' option, and I upload the configuration to the PLC, I get an error message when I go online under the 'Diagnostic buffer' of the Open controller (see attached pic).

In the PDF, I don't see any router in the diagram, but I might misunderstand something. Do I have to add a new device under the 'Devices & networks' tab? The remote PC is connected to the internet through WiFi. The router address and the X2's IP address are not the same of course.

A kinda unrelated question: is there someone, who knows why can I program my PLC without any problem, but when I want to test the connection between my PC and the PLC with ping, the ping doesn't work? I tried both with the Open Controller's IP and the Software Controller's IP.

 Specially tested ping option from Windows. The plc response to ping normally.

 I have translated all text to English. Confirmed this guide is working. Tested using TIA v15.1

i asked myself what happens after a computer reset ?

Why are the routings shown in the manuel marked with “Persistand = No” ??

I followed the provided manual and have noticed the following issue with Windows 11 Professionall “Gateway = Remote PC”:

I have setup my loacal network card as described at step 2.5

The local Computer has IP 192.168.100.1, the "PLC target has 192.168.100.100 with local PC IP as Gatway

From “PG” local computer i was then able to reach as the local PC as well the desired “Targed PLC”

But:

After a rebot of the local PC i was unable  to re establish a connection between local computer and Target PLC until:

1) Removed Network sharing from Remote PLC local iP

2) Re assign sharing as described ?

Question is why is this and how to fix to prevent to must reset it after each restart ?
