Comfert Pnael HMI Communications Problems

AutoGen_7227750 Joined: 7/5/2024 Last visit: 6/4/2025 Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	Hi, I am having trouble establishing communications between a KP900 comfort panel and a CPU 1511F-2 PN PLC. Network settings and connection all seem to be set up correctly but there are no comms between these units. When I go online and go to the device view, the profinet interface has a grey question mark (attached image). And in the Topology view, the network connection is greyed out. I have also tried setting up a blank project with the HMI connected directly to the PLC (both physically and in the project) with no success. I have tried this in TIA Portal v18 and v19. Some other details: Using TIA Portal V18 (per customer request). HMI is a KP900, image version V17.00.00.08_05.01 PLC is a CPU 1511F-2 PN, firmware version 3.1. Any help would be appreciated. No success. I've also made sure their time/date settings were correct (saw a post here that indicated that could mess with security certificates) and downgraded the HMI firmware, just in case. These did not help. I've set up other Siemens HMI-PLC connections in the past, though never with a comfort panel.
