I am trying to set up an S210 driver for the first time in web server( I haven't worked with siemens servo drives until now).

My first question is, why when I take control of the drive in control panel and I am filling the speed setpoint value and I press hold to rotate, the motor shaft doesn't rotate?

When I had parameterized the drive in TIA ( maked up all green) I hadn't supplied the 3AC line voltage to the drive, I didn't need it and I don't know if because of missing 400V line voltage I observed in web server the 30016 alarm.. Alarm that I can't acknowledge it.

Because of this alarm I can't rotate the motor shaft and make the comisionning of the drive?

Another, thing, I don't use an breaking resistor, it's a must that at X4 connector of the drive I have to jump DCP and R2 terminals, or it is not so important.

Thank for your attention, and please help me with advices on rotating the motor at least in web server for the moment.

Thank you for your reply, the problem is that the alarm persists  even after the powering of the 3AC supply , I had tryied rotating the shaft with the power on.

My questions are, It is a necessary condition jumping the x4 terminal? Is that why allarm apear?

Why I can't turn the shaft in web server, it should rotate.

I am on the new S210 drives, i have the DCP and R2 link in and still have the error -  i have checked all other wirring and have tried to clear the error on the drive and still havent got anywhere? What else can i try?
