Have any of you encountered "Alarm queue full" Fault on PXC200-E.D in Desigo CC ?

What could be the cause of this and how to deal with it?

Many times…

Most often its either:

1. Some trend with crazy settings
2. Notificationclass objects having bad entries, if for example it has been connected to a different platform, ie Insight, there could be entries in them not visible from Desigo CC.
3. An alarmpoint has gone into alarm so many times the controller basicly has been DDOS attacked.
4. System limits of the controller has been broken with too many points programmed in it, our company stopped sell the 200 version since it was realtively easy to hit those limits.

To clear the Queue you could try use the “get event” button i mentioned earlier, if thats not enough you can (if the site allows it) stop the program for a few seconds and then hit run again,

This could be your problem if you have the latest FW version of the PXC controller.

They recommend a downgrade in this article.

Recommendation

Due to the above facts, we recommend for the time being not to install from the XWP_Firmware-Library_V6.30.495 the FW_PX..._V6.00.345 or FW_PX..._V6.30.037 on any PX devices.

Note: For Desigo PX sites where the specified affected firmware is already installed, we strongly recommend downgrading to the previous firmware:

• FW_PXC..._V6.00.338 or FW_PXC..._V6.30.026.
