Correct use for contactor 3P 3RT

Urantia Experienced Member Joined: 10/23/2009 Last visit: 7/29/2025 Posts: 118 Rating: (0)	Hi all, May clarify this question I have I have seen applications where pole contactor 3RT1016-1BB41, just connect two phases (L1, L2) and third stages did not connect. This is because that is the mark diagrams for certain applications. The question is: a) It is correct this way of using the contactor? b) what is the theoretical basis of your response? Thanks in advance.

srk Posts: 8 Rating: (1)	3RT101 can be used with only 2 poles connected and the third pole without any connection. The problem arises if you use any device that evaluates all the 3 poles together (like a 3RU or 3RB)
