I asked my specialized colleagues in power and this is their answer: starting current of a electric motor varies from 4 to 10 times of normal load current. This depends on type of motor, for low voltage motor (400 Volt) this current is 10 times and for High Voltage current (6K to 11K) the starting current varies from 4 to 6 times of normal load.
