could anyone please help me to do the following please. I would like to control a motor via Micromaster 440 in a Logo (OBA6) in Logosoft. So I am using three inputs of the inverted (DIN1-ON, DIN2-Run, DIN3-Reverse). Moreover, I need to run the motor with short pauses, pretty much like a washing machine, so it spins right, stops, spins left, stops until it is terminated.

I tried to use the on delay and pulse generator in the Logosoft to make the ON time and delay time. That works fine with normal direction (DIN2). However, I can not make it working so the Q2(DIN2) and Q3(DIN3) are alternating. The inverter runs one direction if DIN2 is active and reverse direction if both DIN 2 and DIN3 are active. I tried to use the wire out of the DIN 2 to connect to a counter however the counter is always reset before the Q3 (DIN3) gets activate. Has anyone been involed in similar application ? Any suggestions are highly appreciated.

Activating DIN 1 (ON) starts the frequency inverter, activating RUN (DIN2) the motor starts spinning. Thank you for the sugestions. I am going to look at the attachment now.

I have checked the program you sent me. Thank you, it seems to be in a way of what i am trying to do. However, the code does it differently. First it sets both Q1 and Q2 on,afterwards directly Q2, then Q1 and then delay. Further running repeats this procedure. What I would like to do is:

Set Q1 or Q1+Q2 ( does not matter if the program starts normal or reverse direction of the motor)

Delay

Set Q1+Q2 or Q1

Delay

Then repeat as long as specified time is not reached.

Your code has four different states, Q1+Q2 ON, Q1 ON, Q2 ON and delay. I only need three states, Q1 ON, delay and Q1+Q2 on. Any more suggestions ? Thank you and have a nce day.

PS: each phase of active outputs must be followed by a delay before setting the outputs to a different state. This is because the machine has to stop before changing direction so the motor does not get overloaded.
