Working with a Micromaster 440

alexfizeau Posts: 95 Rating: (0)	Hello. I have an S7-300 (315-2DP) and an Micromaster 440. They are connected using Profibus-DP. The PLC has address 2 and the Micromaster address 6 in the Profibus-DP network. The type of data exchange via Profibus is set as PPO3 (2 x PZD, 0 X PKW) for controlling the MM440. The starting address of the first PZD is 332 decimal (14C Hex). I have written corectly the Ctrl Word (PZD1) and SetPoint (PZD2) in a DB with 2 words: Word1=PZD1=W#16#847Fhex and Word2=PZD2=W#16#1000hex. That means: start and setpoint speed at 25%. To transmit the commands to MM4 I am using SFC15 (DPWR_DAT). I have the following problem: The Communication Board of the MM440 has a diagnostic LED that is flashing at 1 Hz. Looking in the manual of the CB I saw that this type of flashing means: "cyclical process data exchange in progress, but setpoints invalid (ctrl word = 0)." Where could be my mistake ? Many thanks.

You want to transmit 2 words (4 bytes). Have you tried to use a Double word. L dbx.dbd0 T PQD 332 Perhaps this will help. Best regards, Wizard
