memloc Posts: 8 Rating: (0)	Anybody got the network simulation working yet in LSC V7? I have 2 progams open. MasterIP: 192.168.1.2 Slave IP: 192.168.1.3 (I have setup the same subnet 255.255.255.0 and gateway 192.168.1.1. I even tried the masters IP as the gateway) Master is setup with a NI1 (Network Input) with the Slave IP above and Block I1 NI1 is connected to Q1 on the master. The Slave has I1 connected to an "or" block then Q1 I hit simulation on both programs, then network connect. I activate I1 on the Slave, nothing happens on the master. I think I might be doing something wrong. Any Ideas

The link you mentioned is passing analogue information from the server to the slave. I havent been able to do it yet properly. Mc Muffin - Your right I mean Server / Client. I am just trying to get the basics going, starting with controlling the Digital output of a slave. Will let you know if I get it right. Memloc

memloc Posts: 8 Rating: (0)	well, I finnally got it all sorted. Thanks to google translate, I regularly checked the german forum and played with the examples given there. Took a bit of time to understand the VM parameters part. If anybody wants to know how I could post my test programs. I worked out communication in both directions server and client, analogue and digital. Again thanks to everybody who contributed in both forums. Now on to the next part, communicating with HMI. memloc

Look under the tool -> eathernet connections Under connection 1 you can see the data transfer.
