How do I knowthe value of thePTC touse?Is there anycalculationto do?And about 1K resistor? "Toenablethe tripfunction setup oneof thedigitalinputsusingDIN0(P0701)orDIN1(P0702)orDIN2(P0703)to avalueof29 (externalfault)."ImusingtheDIN1P0702=29. How the inverterdetects the increase oftemperature by theexternal fault? I need your help guys. I only have 5 days to finish the projet for school :/ Best Regards

JensS Posts: 739 Rating: (55)	Hi, the only possibility of G110 is the PTC, described below. If you need to have a temperature graph you need a KTY and control unit. PTC = temperature switch KTY = temperature controller External Motor Thermal Overload Protection with G110 When operated below rated speed, the cooling effect of fans fitted to the motor shaft is reduced. Consequentially, most motors require de-rating for continuous operation at low frequencies. To ensure that the motors are protected against overheating under these conditions, a PTC temperature sensor must be fitted to the motor and connected to the inverter control terminals To enable the trip function set up one of the digital inputs using P0701 (DIN0) or P0702 (DIN1) or P0703 (DIN2) to a value of 29. Due to the electrical noise emitted by the PTC cables it is recommended that the PTC cables are routed parallel to the motor cables and not the inverter control cables.

JensS Posts: 739 Rating: (55)	Pls. have a look into OPI Chapter 3.1 = Block Diagram The Digital output isn´t a relay, it can handle max 24V/50mA! DC (You can use the internal power supply terminal 6 and 7; or an external 24V DC) For a Fault-lamp I guess you need an external contactor
