Hi, I've attached the program i made to work.I think it is far too complicated BUT it does do everything i want.
Ilike what you mean about having feedback from the contactors.I dontthink it is nessassary in this application but a dammedgood idea.

Hi, sorry didnt answer your questions.
all the buttons are momentary push to close (NO). As it works at the minute pushing the slow FWD button holds a contactor downsupplying power to the slow windings of the motor. Then pressing thefast FWD button will drop the the Slow FWD contactor out and pull down the fast FWD contactor supply power to the fast windings of the motor.
Because the motor is driving a heavy tool via belts, the machine has to be started in slow first THEN changed to fast. I want certain restrictions. Like, operator cant start the machine in fast and he canthave the machine running in one direction then quickly change to the other without pressing stop first.
Does this make sence?

but aware in the stop buton

and in my program is a stop with NO !!!
i think it cover most of what you ask .

i still want to tel you that you have to use 2 more inputs.
imagine what it will hapen if one contactor is block.
and of corse to replace the NO in stop buton with a NC or to use a buton with one NO for the logo
as it is now and one NC and to pass the voltage of the coils of the contactors from this NC .

i change the program so is possible to go to
speed 1 form speed 2 ( bred mix 2)
also i made i new one to see how simply
it come the program when you going to use
2 more inputs as i said in previus post ( bred mix 3).
