Do you want to detect threshholds of 0.5 degrees in a temoerature curve, to take different actions (like a thermostat?). Start by giving us an idea of the appication, then describe the PLC and sensor material selected.Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier

I want to use an external temperature sensor and another one that will be placed in the solar sas. the temperature sensor 0 10 volts will be connected to the analog inputs, and I would like to switch air dumper according to the temperatures reached in the solar sas and outside.

Helmut_13 Posts: 2930 Rating: (432)	Hi, LOG! has a resolution of 1000 digits vor 0...10V. So the resolution is 10/1000 = 0.01 or 10mV. Check the data sheet of the sensor if this fits to your requirement. Regards

Is it for a temperatuure p.e. 20 degrees? Yuo must have (or buy) a sensor 0-10 Volt, 18- 23 degrees. The logo works intern with analog signals from 0 to 1000. so 18 degrees becomes 0 and 23 degrees become 1000 a half degree becomes then intern 20. Its enough for a good working of your programm
