sipa Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	Hello, I have problem on moulding machine. When switch on power on CPU lit led rn, st and basp.When put out Eprom submodul only lit RUN led.Where is problem? We try with overoll reset procedure but it is same.

Hi, Did you take out the EPROM when the system was powered up.... Then it might be possible that the EPROM is damaged, you have to search for the original software and first load that and the start up the CPU with a cold restart. It could also be that the CPU have to have a cold start by holding down the switch under the RUN/STOP switch and then switch the RUN/STOP switch several times, please look in the handbook how the switch is called.

J_Bell Posts: 5822 Rating: (412)	Hello, now I am confused... You take the EPROM out... why do you do that? The EPROM contains the Program. If you have no Battery in the System the CPU is empty as soon as you switch it on and the System does not know what to do, so the BSAP is OK in my mind. Even if you have a Battery and you pull the EPROM the System has to be reset and is empty. If you want to have the System running without a EPROM you will have to use a Battery and you have to load the Programwith STEP 5. You will not be able to “just” load the Program with the EPROM.
