Parameter Setting?

barkerb Posts: 17 Rating: (0)	I am trying to set up active homing on an axis and when I do, I set it for External zero mark only and negative direction. When I do that it tells me that I have to set P0495 to the DI/DO that I want to use for the External Zero Mark and P0490 to invert the input. However I can not find where I can set these two parameters anywhere. Scout 4.0.0.8. D445 with 2 CU320's on Profinet. Axes set up on the CU320's . I have looked through every expert list I can find, I have found out what to set P0495 to- 1-6(DI/DO 9-11,13-15), but nowhere can I find how to set it. A little help please Thanks Bob

With parameter p495 you select on each drive the input wich is connected/used for the external zero mark signal. You can case one signal input for each measuring system on the drive. As signal input you must use the bidirectional input/output connectors in the ControlUnit from th SINAMICS. If you open the dialog Input/Output on the Control Unit you can see which front connector number are assigned to the DI/DO Number. Regard Christoph

It is not on the drive configuration screens. I am at a loss on this one. I know what to do, just not how to do it. Thanks again Bob

You go in the projecttree to the SINAMICS andopen the tree, go to Drives Folder an open the subtree. The you open the expertlist fpr the drive which used the zexternal zero mark. In the expert List navigate to the parameter p495 an select from which input the signal comes. To use the signal you must connect the signal wire from the zero mark to the DI connector (X122/X132) on the front of the CU320 which you have selected in p495. barkerb Posts: 17 Rating: (0)	My copy of scout does not have the expert list selectable from the drive. If I could do that it would be easy. See the attachment. all I can pick is the Insert Script Folder and Save Project and Export Object.

There are two alternativ ways to open the expert list. 1.) double click the specific drive and press STRG+E 2.) double click the specific driveand select in the menubar drive->expert->experlist For the problem with the contextmenu you can test following: go to SIMOTION installfolder (e.g C:\Program Files\Siemens\Step7\u7umc\data\wrkbnch\) and delete the following files if there are exists: ACPPersi.dat, UESPersi.dat, UESUser.dat .
