I was getting the error: 

on a ET1510sp cpu. Later i found out that it can only manage 6 motion control axis. However, i have 9 drives controling 9 individual pumps...

Any ideas? Can i somehow circumvent this limitation with some trick?

What kind of drives do you have? Which Profidrive profile do they use?

Basically you should be able to operate them without TOs, i.e. write more or less sophisticated driver. It can be a lot of work but still feasible.

Unless you find it too complicated, then it's better to go for more powerful CPU which does the task.

no, the G120 can also be configured inside TIA with STARTDRIVE, then no Starter or Scout is needed.

It is not necessary to count turns, only to spin fwd at a given speed calculated by the PLC.

Pump ON - spin at speeds between 18.5 - 50 Hz - pump OFF

I only use the technology blocks because i've learned to control the drives this way and i'm not very experienced.

I belive it can be done via control word and maybe something else?
