When i try to compile a SCL source to create new FBs i recieve an error message ( in attachement )and SCL crashes. In SCL source i am addressing DB in which i have constants. But when i use instead of "DB_Const.Parameter" justvalue of this parameter SCLdoesnt crashes. I also upgraded SCL v5.3 sp2 HF1to SP3 but the problem is the same. Why is it so? JoergM Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	I've got nearly the same Problem, but i think i cornerd it al little more. My S7SCLAPX.exe crashes also by compiling some SCL files, but only if the debuginformations should also be generated. If i compyle without the debuginformations i could compyle anithing i want. The same Source could be compiled on 2 different systems with debuginformations without any problems. Greetings, Joerg

Phantom75 Posts: 2661 Rating: (279)	Hi Janko, I tried on my machine and it works fine (even with Debug Info switched on). I was getting warnings but these I was able to correct after creating "dummy" blocks. The SCL application did not crash. This means the problem is with the installation/SCL product version and not with SCL source itself. Have you contacted the Siemens Help Desk? Regards
