Hi guys,

we have a few texts in our P&IDs and I would like to find them all via a query. Does anyone know how I can search for them? There is no object being created that I can see, that I could use for the query.

Do you mean free text as a remark or are the texts really objecs that you can search?

You can use Extra -> Bulk translation query.

I meant the free remark texts you can place via the "A" button in the toolbar.

Use ITEXT class in debugger or query by opening drawing via report.open and filter Reportdocument.item(I-1) as Text type

you can try this in object debugger where a is your document:

Be careful with the script before, if you don't want to save the report you should

mark this as comment out

'a.Report.Save

Then you also need to be carefull, if the document is not opend by an other, you will loose in both cases the changes inside the reports.

Another thing is, if you have a fault inside a report the query will kill the comos session.
I have the same trouble a few time ago.

Hi all

I just tried your skript inside a query and it works pretty well except for the mentioned faults inside the reports. In my case it doesn't kill the session but it gives a pop-up error message. This is really annoying when you want to check several hundred reports. Does somone know if I can switch off this error handling when opening a report by skript?
