Has anyone implemented "Remote Diagnosis" via internet from local PG/PC to remote WinAC?

It would save a lot of money when customer's machine meets WinAC issue but maker are far away from the site. That's why customer asked that kind of question. br, Barry 8/12

Err msg: connection could not be established. 2.Unable to copy the block OB1 in SIMATIC Manager windows. Err msg: Online: connection could not be established. The connection partner is not responding. Strange thing is I have to enter actual IP address(via DDNS)after I clicked "Download". Best regards, Barry 9/1

jklm Posts: 1742 Rating: (309)	Hello, I would check if I can reach the remote PC (with a Ping for instance). During tests, I would also disable the firewall of the remote PC. And I recommand to install a kind of remote desktop access, just to be able to take overthe screen of the remote PC. Be sure also that the WinLC control panel is running (start it with the remote desktop access if required). You can only download if the WinLC process is running.
