What happens when using this button in the new PM system?

Does the message string get archive / stored somewhere?

Does the other partner in the conversation loose the conversation?

Hi dP,

if you click on "leave conversation" you only left the conversation and "clean up" your personal messages. If the conversation partner will answer you the conversation is visible again. That means that your conversation partner still participate in the conversation and you are the only person that left the conversation. To sum up: the conversation is available as long as all participants don't left it. So it will be stored in a kind of way.

I assume that there is no way to get back a conversation when using "leave conversation". If that is the case, then it would be good if there is warning.

Are there any future plans to make it possible to save or export the private messages?

Hello #dP,

at the moment the messages are stored within the database.

The usage of the export from the former system was very low. So we decide not to implement such a functionality until the amount of messages increases in a way that it will necessary to restrict the number of messages an user could store.
