Hello Everybody,

I have this old machine that has a S5-95U PLC (6ES5 095-8ME01) working with some serial temperature controllers using a Profibus DP/serial coverter.

The original PLC was damaged, so we replaced with a "new" 6ES5 095-8ME01 and upload the program from the original EPROM but the profibus communication doesn´t work.

The question: Is the profibus configuration stored in the EPROM?  If it is, Where I find this in the program?

do you also configure the DB1?
At this DB configure some function's.

Please look at the manual of the S5-95U at chapter 5

For the configuration of Profibus you need the software COM_Profibus or COM_ET200.
